Angel Tree 2017

November 21, 2017

Did you know that there are hundreds of families in this country who do not get to experience Christmas the way most families do?

About 2.7 million children in the U.S. have a mom or dad in prison. For them Christmas can be especially lonely. This is why Monumental partners with Prison Fellowship Ministries' Angel Tree®.

Through our Angel Tree you have an opportunity to share God's love by helping meet the physcial, emotional, and spiritual needs of the families of prisoners by providing Christmas presents.

Here is how it works:

1. Choose an Angel from the Tree in the Fellowship Hall.

2. Complete the attached tracking slip and place it back in the box or bag marked "Tracking Slips Here."

3. Buy and wrap the gift. Then remove the bottom portion of the angel label before attaching the top portion to the gift as a "tag."

4. Place the gift under the Angel Tree on or before Sunday, December 10.

You can also participate by helping deliver packages during the week of December 17. Contact Connie McCook (724-6441) with questions or to help deliver gifts.
